UX research - understand how your users behave, what they need and what drives them

In-depth UX research and behavioral analysis show you how people actually use your website, store or app. You’ll understand their needs, their problems and their motivations. Based on that research, we’ll point you to the specific elements that need optimizing.

When do clients come to us about UX/CRO research?

They have specific goals and needs (testing a USP, running the purchase process past real users) and they’re looking for experts to help them get it done.

They want to understand their users’ behavior, problems and motivations better.

They can see problems on the conversion path and need deeper research to get specific, effective recommendations.

They want to improve specific metrics (lift conversion, cut churn, raise user satisfaction) and they’re looking for ways to do it

How we run user experience research

Our approach to UX research starts with solid research. Without research and a diagnosis — without naming the problem — that problem is hard to beat.

It’s like a doctor treating you before diagnosing the illness. You wouldn’t want to be treated that way, would you? Your digital product doesn’t handle treatment (shipping changes) without a diagnosis any better.

This methodology is how we get the full picture of the user experience.

Here’s what the research tells us:

What users’ problems, needs and motivations are
How users behave while they’re using the site, store or product
Which parts of the site, store or product have the most problems
What pushes users to take the actions you want, and what stops them
How to improve the product to raise user satisfaction
What to add to the roadmap to hit your business goals

The kinds of UX research we run

01 /
User testing

We watch real users work through your site or app while completing tasks. A moderator guides the participant through a prepared scenario, gathering valuable observations about how intuitive the interface is, where the usability problems are, and what the overall impression is.

02 /
Customer interviews

We run in-depth conversations with a representative group of your customers to understand their needs, expectations and pain points. This qualitative research supplies context and a deeper read on what motivates users.

03 /
Surveys

We survey a large group of users, which gives us hard numbers and surfaces recurring behavioral patterns. That lets us confirm our hypotheses and see which problems affect most of your customers and which are one-offs.

04 /
Customer support interviews

Your support team is an enormous knowledge base about your business. In these interviews we go through the problems users report most often, so we can spot recurring patterns and prioritize the areas that need work in the design process.

05 /
Q&A analysis

We systematically study the questions users ask, which helps optimize the site’s information architecture and match the content more closely to what your audience needs.

06 /
Heatmap analysis

We use advanced eye-tracking and click-tracking tools to identify which interface elements pull the most attention and which get skipped.

07 /
Form analysis

We study how well your forms perform, pinpointing where users hit trouble or abandon the process.

08 /
Conversion path analysis

We map the user’s journey in detail, from first visit to conversion, identifying friction points and openings to optimize.

09 /
Traffic analysis

We use data from Google Analytics and other research tools to understand behavioral patterns on the site and draw conclusions grounded in data.

10 /
Session recording analysis

We watch real user sessions, which gives us insight into their experience and the difficulties they run into while using your site or app.

11 /
5-second tests

We measure first impressions and how intuitive the interface feels through brief exposures and immediate reactions from participants.

12 /
Tree testing

We test the logic and clarity of your information structure by asking participants to find specific content without visual cues.

13 /
Single-task testing

We focus on specific features or elements to analyze the usability of key processes closely.

14 /
Preference testing

We study users’ subjective opinions on different design versions, which helps you make design decisions that match what your audience expects.

What UX research gets you

  • A higher conversion rate – Removing barriers in the purchase process translates directly into higher sales.
  • Lower development costs – Catching problems before you build the changes saves time and resources.
  • Higher user satisfaction – An intuitive product builds loyalty and positive experiences.
  • Decisions grounded in data – Instead of guessing what users will like, you work from concrete evidence.
  • A competitive edge – Understanding user needs better lets you get ahead of the competition.

Case Studies

See how we generated millions of PLN in additional revenue for our clients.

One of Poland’s leading cosmetics brands hired us to understand which changes actually move their conversion rate. As part of our full-service CRO engagement, we ran several dozen A/B tests. The changes we shipped generated roughly 2 million PLN (~$500K) in additional revenue per year.

Not long ago, every e-commerce “expert” was saying the same thing: a one-step checkout will lift your conversion rate because it’s shorter, has fewer steps, and so on. Switching to a single-step checkout sat on every “quick wins for store conversion” checklist out there. It was supposed to be the cure for abandoned carts. But as often happens with trends and best practices, something billed as a “must-have” and a “universal fix” doesn’t necessarily work everywhere.

Optimizing the Wideorejestratory24.pl store means continuously analyzing the site, spotting opportunities for sales growth, forming hypotheses, validating them, and shipping only the changes we have evidence for. All of this drove steady year-over-year growth in Wideorejestratory24.pl’s monthly revenue, without increasing marketing spend.
