When do clients come to us about conversion optimization?

They drive plenty of traffic to the site and have big marketing budgets, but conversion stays low.

They want the store or site to sell more without raising ad spend.

They know “something” needs fixing on the site, they can see the UX problems and they’re looking for experts to handle it.

They got a UX audit once, but it didn’t bring much value to the business or they’re not convinced the recommended changes would actually work.

They want to improve their store based on data and see proof that the changes they make really do drive sales.

We’ll help you turn visitors into buyers, whatever platform you’re on

What does a CRO audit look like?

01 /
Analysis of your business and building a plan
  • We run business workshops
  • We gather your goals, requirements and expectations
  • We put together an action plan
02 /
Research and analysis of your current site, identifying problems and growth opportunities (based on data, not intuition)
  • We analyze user behavior on the site to identify what works, what does not and where you are currently losing the most conversions.
  • We run an expert review based on the 7K model.
  • We build a base of observations, problems and solutions from quantitative and qualitative research.
  • In it we document where and why sales may be leaking, and collect data-driven ideas for lifting conversion and average order value.
  • We design solutions for improving communication, the USP, information architecture, clarity of information and design, credibility, and for reducing friction.
  • We set priorities.
  • We recommend the next steps for optimizing the site.
03 /
Presenting and discussing the audit
  • On the call we go over the key findings and answer your questions.
  • We talk about what should be done next.
04 /
Hypothesis validation (optional)
  • A CRO audit will give you plenty of ideas for optimizing your website. But keep in mind that they are still only ideas. Recommendations, even from the best experts, should be tested to verify how they actually affect user behavior and sales. Where possible, of course.
  • If your store’s current design looks amateurish, or we identify a great many conversion problems, or you do not have enough data to validate ideas reliably, then rolling out the recommendations right away is probably the right move.
  • If your website performs “reasonably well” and has enough data to test ideas reliably, we recommend validating the hypotheses.
  • You will of course get our guidance on which approach to take and which changes to ship straight away and which to test.
05 /
Rollout of the recommendations by our developers (optional)

If you need it, our developers can ship the tests and the final changes to your website. We work with all the most popular platforms, including WordPress, WooCommerce, Shoper and Shopify.

06 /
Ongoing testing and optimization (optional)

We brought value to your business. If you want more of it, and your website qualifies for our program of continuous improvement and conversion optimization, we move to a subscription arrangement. This is of course optional.

Here’s what the CRO audit tells you:

Which parts of the site have the most problems
Where the biggest growth opportunities are
What pushes users to convert and what holds them back
What information users are missing while they’re on the site
What fears and doubts visitors have before they convert
What to add to the site to increase clarity and credibility, cut friction and distraction, and communicate value better

One of Poland’s leading cosmetics brands hired us to understand which changes actually move their conversion rate. As part of our full-service CRO engagement, we ran several dozen A/B tests. The changes we shipped generated roughly 2 million PLN (~$500K) in additional revenue per year.

Not long ago, every e-commerce “expert” was saying the same thing: a one-step checkout will lift your conversion rate because it’s shorter, has fewer steps, and so on. Switching to a single-step checkout sat on every “quick wins for store conversion” checklist out there. It was supposed to be the cure for abandoned carts. But as often happens with trends and best practices, something billed as a “must-have” and a “universal fix” doesn’t necessarily work everywhere.

Optimizing the Wideorejestratory24.pl store means continuously analyzing the site, spotting opportunities for sales growth, forming hypotheses, validating them, and shipping only the changes we have evidence for. All of this drove steady year-over-year growth in Wideorejestratory24.pl’s monthly revenue, without increasing marketing spend.
