When do clients come to us about conversion optimization and A/B testing?

They drive plenty of traffic to the site and have big marketing budgets, but conversion stays low.

Their site is already well optimized, with strong design and UX, but they want to squeeze out more conversions and raise average order value.

They know “something” needs fixing on the site, they can see the UX problems and they’re looking for experts to handle it.

They got a UX audit once, but it didn’t bring much value to the business or they’re not convinced the recommended changes would actually work.

They want to improve their store based on data and see proof that the changes they make really do drive sales.

8 out of 10 changes made to websites in order to increase conversion do not bring the expected result.

“Eight out of ten times, you are wrong about what your customers want.”
Avinash Kaushik
Ekspert analityki internetowej

Most ideas meant to lift business results simply do not work. Kaushik’s point is backed by other sources as well (for example Optimizely and HBR): roughly 80% of website changes aimed at improving results do not deliver what was expected.

The conclusion: if you make changes to your website without solid research, analysis and validation of how those changes affect your conversion rate and other key metrics, you are taking a big risk.

But you can optimize your website in a better way.

You no longer have to guess and wonder what actually works and what does not. You can roll out changes to your website in a better way and raise your confidence that the ideas you ship have a positive impact on your sales.

At Digispot we have a process for that.

Good conversion optimization comes down to the right process

The process we bring to our clients’ businesses has generated millions of PLN in additional revenue for them.

How we optimize websites

01 /
We analyze where and why you’re losing money. We get to know your business and your website, and we analyze how users behave.
02 /
We identify the problems and the opportunities to grow sales, catalog them and prioritize them (for example: if we find most of your money leaking at the cart, that’s where we focus — so you get the most value in the least time).
03 /
We design solutions (a cart redesign, say).
04 /
We test those solutions and verify whether they actually grow your sales (depending on your traffic, transaction volume and the specific change, we pick the right validation method — an A/B test, user testing or something else).
05 /
We ship the changes (based on evidence, not intuition).
06 /
We repeat — hunting for the next bottlenecks and growth opportunities, testing solutions and steadily improving your site.

We’ll help you turn visitors into buyers, whatever platform you’re on

We identify the problems leaking your conversions and find the opportunities to grow

Every successful optimization starts with solid research. Without research and a diagnosis — without naming the problem — that problem is hard to beat.

It’s like a doctor treating you before diagnosing the illness. You wouldn’t want to be treated that way, would you? Your website doesn’t handle treatment (shipping changes) without a diagnosis any better. So before we start changing (treating) your website, we run research — quantitative and qualitative. We get to know your business and your site, analyze user behavior and form hypotheses.

Here’s what you’ll learn:

Which parts of the site have the most problems
Where the biggest growth opportunities are
What pushes users to convert and what holds them back
What information users are missing while they’re on the site
What fears and doubts visitors have before they convert
What to add to the site to increase clarity and credibility, cut friction and distraction, and communicate value better

We verify which ideas for changes on your website are the right ones, through A/B testing

“A great thing is backing hypotheses with A/B tests. We work with hard data, not with “we think this will probably be fine”. Instead of a revolution, the Digispot team prepared a plan for solid evolution, without turning the existing work upside down, just improving the key touchpoints between customer and site.”

Any recommendation that is not backed by evidence is just a guess. And although some claim they “know everything” and are certain what will and will not work on your site, the most reliable way to find out what genuinely lifts conversion is to run experiments.

At Digispot we help you make better decisions and reduce the risk of shipping changes that do not pay off. We use a scientific approach to website optimization and run A/B tests (experiments). We make decisions based on data, not on intuition and opinions. We validate every idea and solution we design during research. That lets us make changes that genuinely translate into sales growth.

We ship changes that really improve your results (and we have strong evidence for it).

Our conversion optimization service generates additional revenue for every one of our clients

One of Poland’s leading cosmetics brands hired us to understand which changes actually move their conversion rate. As part of our full-service CRO engagement, we ran several dozen A/B tests. The changes we shipped generated roughly 2 million PLN (~$500K) in additional revenue per year.

Not long ago, every e-commerce “expert” was saying the same thing: a one-step checkout will lift your conversion rate because it’s shorter, has fewer steps, and so on. Switching to a single-step checkout sat on every “quick wins for store conversion” checklist out there. It was supposed to be the cure for abandoned carts. But as often happens with trends and best practices, something billed as a “must-have” and a “universal fix” doesn’t necessarily work everywhere.

Optimizing the Wideorejestratory24.pl store means continuously analyzing the site, spotting opportunities for sales growth, forming hypotheses, validating them, and shipping only the changes we have evidence for. All of this drove steady year-over-year growth in Wideorejestratory24.pl’s monthly revenue, without increasing marketing spend.

Every website is different

Every site has its own business model, audiences and problems, and it needs its own solutions to those problems. Just because change X worked on one website doesn’t mean it will work on yours. Just because you read a case study about change Y that lifted sales for some e-commerce business doesn’t mean a similar solution will lift yours. Even if you’re in the same industry.

Here’s an example: we tested an identical change on the product page across 3 different online stores — adding an add-to-cart button pinned to the bottom of the screen. In one store it lifted conversion, in the second it dropped conversion, and in the third it made no difference to sales at all.

Solutions that worked on one website don’t have to work on yours. The only reliable way to find out whether an idea is any good is to research and test it.

What does working with us look like?

01 /
Pracujemy w modelu Time & Materials

The service fee covers:

  • The hours our specialists spend optimizing your site. At the start we agree how many hours you want to spend monthly (or one-off) on optimizing your store. The number of hours is of course flexible and we can adjust it as needed. Every week you get a report with the hours worked.
  • The cost of testing and research tools.
02 /
You always have access to information about what we do, how we do it, why we do it, and what it gets you

The strategy, action plan and detailed documentation of the results of our work, along with the status and description of every task, study, test and rollout, are visible live in Notion. Effective planning, managing observations and ideas, prioritization and work organization are what we care about most. That is why we built our own Notion template matched to the needs of CRO projects.

03 /
Every week you get an email summary with the most important information

From the email you learn exactly what we did and what it brought to your business.

04 /
Every week we meet on an online call

On the call we go over the work done, discuss the plan for the coming weeks and answer your questions.

05 /
We sign an open-ended contract with a 30-day notice period, with no need to give a reason

We keep clients through the quality and results of our work, not through long contracts.
If for any reason you want to end our work together, parting ways is straightforward.

06 /
We deliver the greatest value in the shortest time

We focus on the work that will bring you the most money. Say our analysis shows that most of your money leaks at the cart stage. That becomes our priority. We do not produce a sprawling 100-page audit covering every subpage, which you would not read anyway. Instead we focus on fixing conversion in your cart. Then we set the next priority. All so we deliver as much value to you as possible, as fast as possible.
